It has been designed exclusively for bullet journaling as you can see on the front cover.

The pages are dotted, which makes it easier to draw straight lines and perfect squares. Once they get those wiggles out or some brain stimulation, they are much easier to train on more low key, boring to a dog stuff like stay, place, etc.Journal. I use this bullet journal I got for a really inexpensive price on Amazon. Whenever my girls were having trouble listening or seeming “stubborn”, I’d get them out for exercise or physical based training like long fetch or jumping up on surfaces on command. While they do age into lazy lumps, even my nearly 2 year old is getting some lazy, snugglerness going, they are very smart and need the same kind of stimulation as other smart breeds. That said I firmly believe when people say stubborn when referring to puppy, I hear under worked/exercised. Definitely been the only real challenge in training. It’s totally doable, but takes work, practice and socialization. He's a good boy 90% of the time :)īased on my experience with my two F1b girls and my friends who have puppers from the same litter/mom/dad combo, they are super easy to train and whip smart.īut also so people oriented and social that the real trick is training them to have some chill and remember commands in social situations. I would say he was very easy to train overall. Likely my fault and I need to be better with training!!! He will ignore some commands on occasion. He doesn't use them very much anymore, he gradually stopped using them. He caught on super quick and would ring the bells when he needed to go.

When he was good with holding for longer periods I introduced him to our open plan living room, same schedule but I made him ring bells when we went outside. I gradually increased the play time as he got bigger. He had a play pen during this time and he stayed in there the entire time unless I was supervising play in the living room. I was working from home so I did the method where I put him on a tight schedule with potty, play, nap, repeat. But my boy was very easy to train- he's 2.5years old now. I'll be the first to say that I'm not the greatest dog trainer.
